I’ve never owned a pair of barber shears until purchasing these. Not only is the quality and craftsmanship off the charts but these guys at Beard & Bates take great care and pride in presenting their products with amazing packaging that shows they care about the stuff they sell. Mostly to trim up beard and around ears. I recommend that they not be used to cut paper or anything else but human hair. If used for other types of cutting they will not stay sharp and useful to trim hair with.
I know NOTHING about what makes a good set of scissors except that they should be sharp, comfortable to use and maneuverable enough to cut a relatively straight line. These bad boys do all of that. Trim your beard and your hair....if you have any left, with plenty of confidence.
Wow. Just, wow. Super high quality shears and the packaging and stealth are super high quality. I wasn’t expecting much, but I’m really impressed!

The only way I won’t buy these again is if I find a well built pair made in the USA. No complaints though.
I had to return the first pair because the gold finger holder was not screwed in and it was stripped out. The metal feels like lower quality and you can tell by looking at two pairs of them side-by-side that the machining tolerances aren’t great. The work pretty good, but they feel much more like a “Made in China” pair of scissors than a solid quality product
I got these to have a small pair of scissors that would be allowed by the EU’s equivalent of TSA, so that I can trim my beard while traveling. Given the border closures, I haven’t actually tried flying with them. I’ve been using them for a couple month’s now and have no complaints.
